Paragon Freight Supports Wates Construction in Completing 33-Storey Tower Project

In a critical intervention that helped bring a major high-rise project back on track, Paragon Freight provided logistics and customs consultancy services to support Wates Construction in the delivery of a 33-storey tower block development.

The project was stabilised through a strategic blend of Just-In-Time (JIT) deliveries (125 full truck loads from France to the UK), temporary warehousing solutions, and comprehensive customs support. Paragon’s expertise ensured that construction materials arrived precisely when needed, minimising site congestion and reducing downtime.

At the heart of the recovery was Paragon Freight’s customs consultancy, which ensured frictionless cross-border movement in a post-Brexit environment where regulatory complexities often cause costly disruptions.

“Helping to support a project of this scale required not only speed and flexibility but deep industry knowledge,” said a Paragon spokesperson. “We worked closely with Wates Construction to deliver a tailored logistics plan that kept the project moving forward.”

The success of this collaborative effort was formally recognised when the project team was honoured with a Collaboration award, recognised for going above and beyond as a supplier.

With this achievement, Paragon Freight once again demonstrates its capability to deliver high-value logistics solutions in challenging, high-pressure environments.

At Paragon Freight Management, we are committed to keeping our clients informed and prepared in a constantly evolving industry.
