Paragon Freight Supports Eurovision with Temporary Equipment Export – Liverpool

Paragon Freight has played a behind-the-scenes role in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest by facilitating the temporary export and return of specialist scanning equipment using an ATA Carnet, the internationally recognised customs document for duty-free and tax-free temporary imports and exports.

The equipment was shipped to the Eurovision host location to support event operations, ensuring high-performance technology was on site without the need for complex import procedures. Thanks to the ATA Carnet, often referred to as a “passport for goods”, the scanners were swiftly cleared through customs in both directions, significantly reducing administrative delays and costs.

“Handling time-sensitive shipments for major events like Eurovision requires precision, reliability, and deep knowledge of international customs procedures,” said a spokesperson for Paragon Freight. “Our use of the ATA Carnet ensured a seamless process from dispatch to return.”

Paragon Freight’s logistics expertise continues to make it a trusted partner for high-profile events and international projects, where efficiency and compliance are non-negotiable.

At Paragon Freight Management, we are committed to keeping our clients informed and prepared in a constantly evolving industry. With decades of experience and a proactive approach to change, we provide reliable, compliant, and forward-thinking logistics solutions across the UK, Europe, and beyond—so you can focus on growing your business while we handle the journey.
